Business Analyst to £35k – Glasgow, Scotland

Business Analyst is required by an expanding not for profit organisation based in Glasgow. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £35,000.

The purpose of the role is to document and propose solutions for complex business areas and to prepare functional specifications.

--- Duties ---

1. Analysis of Customer’s requirements in relation to ICT
2. Planning and implementation of specific ICT projects
3. Provision of a support service
4. Communications & Training
5. Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
6. Analyse and document business processes.
7. Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications.
8. To provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
9. To design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
10. Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

--- Key skills ---

ISEB or equivalent Business Analysis qualification is desirable, as are Microsoft certifications

Previous considerable Business Analysis lead role experience

Understanding of application architecture and development of .NET platform

Good understanding of the ITIL framework

Strong influencing skills

Excellent communication and customer facing skills

Team oriented approach to work but able to work under own initiative

Good interpersonal skills

Salary to £35,000 + Benefits
