Data Analyst – to £35k – Basildon, Essex

Data Analyst with strong knowledge of SQL, Excel and VBA is required by a company based in Basildon, Essex. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £35,000.

--- Duties ---
- First point of contact for issues related to diagnostic feedback data
- Liaise with Product Development, Warranty groups on feedback data and reporting requirements
- Hold regular meetings with IT and other suppliers to ensure issues are understood and progressed
- Administer user access rights to the Feedback reports and to SharePoint data
- Maintain SharePoint site to provide access to commonly used data
- Ensure reports function correctly and meet business requirements. Design new reports and changes to existing reports, working with IT to implement new business requirements within the constraints of limited development resource
- Develop and run regular database queries to aid analysis of feedback within a number of key UK and European business areas
- Run ad hoc database queries for diagnostic group and other users to provide selected diagnostic feedback data
- Develop and run specific excel-based reports to present feedback data in accurate, consistent and user-friendly ways
- Develop and run diagnostic feedback metrics, including detailed analysis of data

--- Key skills ---

- SQL – in-depth understanding of SQL databases and technology and how to use SQL to access data
- Knowledge of testing
- Strong knowledge of VBA
- Good excel skills
