IT Support Analyst – to £22k – Southampton / Hampshire

IT Support Analyst is required by an expanding company based in Southampton, Hampshire. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £22,000.

-- Duties --
- To assist in the development of new and existing applications.
- To liaise with other departments and specialists of the business providing IT assistance as required.
- To manage and maintain workstation systems to optimum performance levels.
- To liaise with 3^rd party companies in the resolution of problems as required.
- To maintain a broad knowledge of the IT industry and help raise awareness of IT related issues.
- To assist the Application Specialist in the development and support of industry standard and bespoke applications.
- To assist the Technical Specialist in the support and maintenance of core infrastructure systems.
- To maintain company asset register and perform IT Hardware and software audits.

-- Requirements --
- Experience in the utilisation of Helpdesk Systems to control and monitor Help desk calls.     
- Experience of providing remote telephone support
- Good understanding of computer hardware 
- Experience in the installation and configuration of Windows and MS-Office software
- Ability to apply and retain information quickly and effectively    
- Excellent Telephone Manner
- Knowledge of Web Development technologies such as ASP or PHP is highly desirable.
