IT Support Analyst – Windows / Linux – Oxford - £25k

An IT Support Analyst with knowledge of internet technologies is required by our Oxford based Client. A package of up to £25,000 is available dependent upon experience.

The IT Support Analyst will receiving training to work with the 2nd line support team to take on responsibility for the support and maintenance of Web Solutions direct to UK clients. You will be responsible for providing support for Internet solutions and related systems including server, router, firewalls and telecoms.

Commercial or non-commercial knowledge of the following areas is required:
- Windows 2000/2003
- Linux / FreeBSD / BIND / Postfix
- TCP/IP and Internet WAN technologies (proxies, web caches, DNS, POP3/SMTP)
- Cisco (routers, switches, firewalls)

This is an ideal role for a Graduate IT Support Analyst with good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments. Candidates with any language programming/scripting skills in PERL and PHP are also highly desirable, but not essential

Salary - £20,000 - £22,000 basic plus £3,500 on-call allowance plus pension & training.
