IT Support Assistant – to £22k - London

IT Support Assistant is required by an expanding company based in London. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £22,000.

Duties

- The ideal candidate needs to have above all; good desktop support skills - the support technician must be patient, enthusiastic, confident, professional and understanding of users with differing technological proficiency in order to best aid staff.
- As well as PC support, the candidate needs to be able to administer printers of various manufacturers/models and types to ensure consistent print services.
- Maintaining documentation and creating user guides to be read by staff is also expected of the candidate.

- Key skills -
- Good working knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and 7, and some experience of Windows Servers
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Adobe products (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Troubleshooting skills with printers and print servers
- Knowledge and experience of AD account creation, print servers, networking and the overall infra-structure - of a business network would be expected
- Experience of installing and configuring new hardware and software
- Any knowledge of CAD systems would be highly desirable
