IT Support Engineer to £30K – Brentford / West London

An IT Support Engineer is required by a West London based company. The role will involve providing user and systems support to the West London and EMEA offices. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £30,000.

--- Duties ---

Install and configure Windows XP on laptop/desktop computers to company standards. HP/Dell/Sony

Install desktop software in accordance with company standards

Install desktop software as required in accordance with provided documentation (Sun Financials)

Install VPN Client software to company standards

Understand working with DOS based program in a Windows XP environment

Configure Outlook to the company standards

Troubleshoot Outlook problems

Administrate Exchange 2007 user accounts

--- Key skills ---

Strong Windows 2003 Server knowledge

Experience of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of VPN

Any IT degree or Microsoft certifications such as MCP or MCSA would be advantageous.
