IT Support Engineer - Royston / Hertforshire - £23k

IT Support Engineer to £23k – Royston, Hertfordshire

IT Support Engineer is required by a retail company based in Royston, Hertfordshire. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £23,000.

--- Duties ---
-To provide all levels of technical support; answering support queries via phone, email and fax, as well as meeting needs with onsite visit if required.
- To maintain a high degree of remote customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
- To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
- To log all calls on the call logging system and keep documentation up to date.
- Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve and hardware or software problems.
- Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
- Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.

--- Key Skills ---

- Knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 2003/2007 and Exchange 2003/2007
- Experience troubleshooting network TCP/IP, LAN and WAN.
- Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.

Salary – to £23,000 + Benefits
Location- Royston, Hertfordshire – some travel may be required
