IT Systems Administrator to £28k – Croydon, Surrey

IT Systems Administrator is required by an expanding company based in Croydon. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £28,000.

The main server technologies involved are Windows 2003/08 servers, Active Directory with Group Policy, Clustered File sharing with NTFS permissions.

Main Duties:
- Ensure the continuation and smooth running of the IT infrastructure;
- Install and maintain Windows Servers including Application and Terminal Servers;
- Source and setup new hardware for new users;
- Monitor and manage system licenses;
- Coordinate the upgrade and installation of software applications.
- Maintain the Firm’s Data Storage and Disaster Recovery infrastructure;
- Administer the Firm’s email and associated Infrastructure currently includes Microsoft Exchange 2008 and Blackberry’s;
- In conjunction with the Management Team implement the Firm’s IT Security Policies including the maintenance of Anti-Virus software, gateway and endpoint security, which includes firewall and proxy servers;
- Take responsibility for system backups.
