IT Systems Manager to £30k – Chesterfield, Derby

IT Systems Manager with knowledge of Server and PC Support is required by a company in Chesterfield to join their team. The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary up to £30,000.

The role will involve providing technical support to all users within the organisation, taking ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

--- Key skills ---

- CRM (Customer Relationship Management) & ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software knowledge.  Either Design and implementation or working knowledge
- Windows Server 2003 Administration including Active Directory knowledge - Adding and configuring users etc
- Web design experience or knowledge of web design applications such as Dreamweaver etc
- Project Management Experience
- Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge CS3 preferable, specifically Illustrator & Photoshop
- Windows Terminal Server environment experience - set up of terminals
- Installation & configuration of widows operating systems (XP or Vista)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Application knowledge, specifically Word, Excel and Access.  VB for Excel experience an advantage

- Maintenance of online & offline training guides
- Maintenance of all existing users details and permissions on network
- Completing & maintaining query logs
- Setting up and installing new PC’s
- Setting up scanners and installing and configuring them on a pc
- Setting up printers and troubleshooting problems with print servers etc
- Installing Windows OS onto new systems
- Installing software and drivers onto new systems
- Updating Intranet WebPages
- Creating Intranet web pages (graphics, tables, layout etc) from

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Network Administration (TCP/IP, DNS) including Server Support and VPN and also some knowledge or experience with Visual Basic and SQL.
