IT Systems Manager with experience of Windows 2003 Servers, Exchange 2003, Network Security, VPNs, Cisco networking and ideally some Sharepoint skills required by our Client based in Cambridge. Salary to £32,000 + Benefits.

This is an ideal role for an IT Manager / Network Manager, looking for a challenging role within an excellent working environment. You will have previous experience managing infrastructure in a Windows environment and have responsibility for the following:
----------------------------------------------------------------

- Managing the system architecture design
- Producing technical assessments and reports and offering advice on potential improvements to infrastructure
- Monitoring network and internet access performance statistics
- Managing the configuration and operation of Microsoft Exchange Server
- Server and client installations of new software and any associated upgrades
- Providing on-time and on-call support as required to meet the desired service levels
- Monitoring server performance and capacity in response to data storage and performing

The ideal candidate will from the following background as well:

- Significant experience of IT systems infrastructure management and technical support
- Formal IT qualifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving ability,
- Experience of providing IT training and user support
