IT Systems Developer / Manager – SQL – Leicester – to £27k

An IT Systems Manager is required with strong SQL skills and report writing skills by a manufacturing company based in Leicester / East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the IT operations of the business and will have a mix of Systems Development (SQL), IT Support and report writing skills. A salary of up to £27,000 + Benefits is offered.

Duties
- Maintain the company’s software and hardware systems as per the business requirements
- To be responsible for report development using Excel and a report writing tool such as BIRT or Crystal Reports
- To be responsible for the in house programming and software customisations
- To maintain IT security and ensure that the network remains virus free and up to date.
- To develop and maintain the technical aspects of the company website.

- Previous experience working as an IT Manager or IT Systems Manager
- Strong Report writing skills (Crystal Reports or BIRT)
- SQL database Management experience
- Experience of administering Windows Server / Exchange 2007
- ERP or MRP experience is desirable

This is a superb opportunity to effectively work as the IT Manager of this expanding and highly respected company based on the outskirts of Leicester (Just off J21 of the M1). You will work as the sole person within IT where you will be responsible for driving forward IT within the business.
