IT Support Technician is required by our client, a solutions provider based in the Newcastle area. The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary of £20,000 - £25,000.

The role will involve providing support for internal and external clients in the Leeds area. You will be working in a project team, deploying, supporting and maintaining bespoke software. You will also be involved in testing software. documentation, completing reports and liaising with development teams.

You will have strong knowledge of Windows XP / 2000, hardware experience (USB and Serial Devices), TCP/IP Networking and Remote Access tools (VPN / RAS). Any knowledge of Windows 2000 / 2003 Server would be advantageous.

The role is home based and will require travelling to client sites in the Newcastle area. A driving licence is essential.
