Junior Web Designer with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XHTML, and ideally some experience of the education sector required by our Client based in Newark near Lincoln. Salary to £12,000.

The successful candidate will have some previous web design experience, and ideally a portfolio of work; this is the ideal role for a trainee Web Designer looking to gain some commercial Web Design experience. Technically candidates will have some basic exposure to HTML, CSS, and XHTML.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1.Assisting the Operations Manager with tasks related to building websites for customers. For example, you may be required to take graphical files supplied by a freelance designer, and work them up into a web layout using a configurable XHTML and CSS template.
2.Assisting the Operations Manager with ongoing maintenance tasks for customers.
3.Occasionally perform periodic global overhauls & upgrades of websites.
4.Assist in general office tasks if required, such as keeping detailed records in customer management software, and helping with general administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be looking for an entry level role in Web Design; you should be able to demonstrate your interest in Web Design through a portfolio of work or an academic qualification in Web Design.

Salary: £12,000 + Excellent Prospects
Monday - Friday: 09.00am - 5.00pm
Locations: Newark, Lincoln, Nottingham
