Junior SQL Server 2005 DBA / Developer is required by a market leading company based in Southend on Sea, Essex. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £28,000.

BRIEF OVERVIEW OF ROLE

To assist in the effective management of our SQL Server and Access Databases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•           Administration & Optimisation of SQL Server

•           Development of SQL Server

•           Reporting Services

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

•           Proven knowledge of MS Access

•           Well organised individual

•           Self-motivated and enthusiastic

•           Ability to work on own initiative

•           Effective team worker

•           Excellent Communication Skills

•           To be able to develop good working relationships other Departments

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience

•           Experience with SQL 2005

•           MS SQL exams ideal (MCDBA Desirable)

•           Good communication skills: verbal/written.

•           Good Mathematical capability

•           Proven organisational skills
