Linux Systems Administrator – Centos / LAMP - Croydon - £50k

A Linux Systems Administrator with strong knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL and Perl Is required by our client based in Croydon, Surrey. A salary of up to £50,000 basic is available dependent upon experience.

The Linux Systems Administrator must have strong knowledge of Centos within a LAMP environment and solid load balancing experience as well as monitoring with Nagios or Cacti. You will work on clustered MySQL databases taking responsibility for administration and ensuring high availability of Linux operating systems.

The Linux Systems Administrator will have solid networking skill and strong knowledge of VOIP as well as strong scripting experience with Bash and Perl. Knowledge of Subversion is required.

- Strong LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / MySQL / Perl)

- Good network administration and VOIP

- Scripting skills with BASH and Perl

- Load balancing and monitoring with Nagios or Cacti
