Linux Systems Administrator – High Wycombe - £45k 

A Linux Systems Administrator with strong enterprise infrastructure skills and strong scripting experience is required by our client based near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. A salary of up to £45,000 basic is available dependent upon experience. 

The Linux Systems Administrator will have strong commercial Linux system administration and strong systems and network infrastructure support experience preferably managing LSF/SGE/Condor based compute-farms. 

The Linux Systems Administrator will be the sole person responsible for planning, designing and managing the deployment of RedHat or CentOS systems infrastructure and assist with storage and backup operations. You must have strong scripting skills with Perl, Shell scripts or Python knowledge.

Skills required: 
- Linux Systems Administration (RedHat / CentOS) 
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: BASH, Perl, Apache, MySQL, Python, UNNIX Shell script, RAID storage and server virtualisation technologies (XenApp). 
- Strong Scripting with Perl / Python or Shell 
- Be able to work in a customer focused environment 
- Knowledge and experience of setting-up and managing LSF/SGE/Condor based compute-farm (grid computing) environment would be beneficial
