Magento Developer (PHP) to £45k – Basildon, Essex 

Magento Developer with knowledge of PHP is required by an expanding company based near Basildon, Essex. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £45,000.

Duties 
- Capturing requirements from the business 
- Designing and developing solutions on the Magento platform 
- Developing the custom theme/skin for our websites 
- Developing custom modules and extensions 
- Finding, evaluating and integrating 3rd-party custom extensions

Technical skills 
- Preferably previous experience with Magento, although good knowledge of the Zend framework and MVC may be sufficient 
- Strong PHP skills 
- Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills 
- Familiarity with good software development practices (e.g. develop locally, test, then release to production in a controlled manner) 
- Ability to work with / develop in a Linux environment with Apache and MySQL as above.
