MIS Developer with strong VB and SQL Server skills is required by our client based in the Blackburn area. The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary of up to £30,000.

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for understanding, defining and developing the reporting requirements of the business. You will be supporting, developing and maintaining the Business Intelligence System, SQL Reports, SQL data warehouse and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL, Visual Basic and MS Access. Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, SharePoint and Windows 2003 server is also required. Knowledge of MRP and Accounts Systems would be useful, although not essential.

The role is within commutable distance of Blackburn, Preston and Bolton.
