.NET Web Programmer with knowledge of VB .NET, ASP .NET, Visual Studio 2008, and .NET 2.0 required by our Client based in Ledbury, near Worcester / Hereford. Salary to £30,000 + Benefits

The successful candidate will join my Client's development team and have exposure to .NET development, and will be responsible for a multitude of technologies from clustering, multi-tiered application design and developing scalable web solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Researching, designing and writing new internal software programs

- Developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification;

- Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals

- Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.

Technically, candidates will have the following background: 

- VB.net – strong programming abilities are essential for this position

- Asp.net – experience in asp.net websites is also essential

- Visual studio 2008 and .Net 2.0

Desirable: Data warehousing, N tier development, Compact framework, Postgres database, RDBMS design and maintenance, Network clustering, Experience in commercial environment, Software design patterns, Multi language and translation.
