PHP Developer (Senior PHP) – Basingstoke - £40k

A Senior PHP Developer with strong LAMP experience (Linux / Apache / My SQL / PHP) is required by our Holding company in Basingstoke, Hampshire. A salary of up to £40,000 basic is offered.

Position

Our client works with international Logistical clients and offers high end web portal services using OpenSource systems to provide data and reporting. You will be responsible for developing web applications for a high volume internet based solution using PHP as well as AJAX and MySQL. You will plan new developments and must be highly skilled in internet protocols and complex algorithms. You will work with small but growing internal development team to develop customer requirements to specification as also provide some basic training and support.

Background

Suitable applicants must have an excellent knowledge of PHP and strong object-oriented programming (OOP) and design skills preferably with Perl or C++, and strong software development with SQL. You must also have experience administering Linux network servers and network security protocols.

Salary from £35,000 to £40,000 plus twice annually bonus.
