Perl Developer with good knowledge of Linux Apache MySQL Perl / PHP/ Mod Perl GnuPG, CVS, IPTABLES required by our Central London based Client who provide web based services to a majority of the top-tier financial institutions. The role is based near Bank / Monument. Salary to £60,000 + Benefits.

The Senior candidate will have a strong background within PERL development, and have the following qualities:

- Good degree
- Self-motivated, pro-active and autonomous, with good team-working skills
- Ability to absorb and retain complex business and technical information rapidly
- Excellent design and software development skills
- OO design skills, including the ability to apply appropriate OO patterns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, developing, enhancing, maintaining and supporting the company’s hosted services. Candidates will be expected to work on all aspects of the applications and will be required to provide technical support on a rostered basis. The applications delivering the services generally have an interactive user interface component delivered as dynamic web pages
