Senior Technical Support Engineer – Basingstoke - £35k

A Senior Technical Support Engineer with strong Windows Server 2003 skills and strong database knowledge (Oracle / SQL Server) is required by our client based near Basingstoke, Hampshire. A salary of £35,000 plus excellent benefits is offered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting bespoke software for UK clients. You will travel up to 20% your time to clients sites to install, support and troubleshoot systems based on Windows Server, SQL Server and/or UNIX based platforms. 

The Senior Support Engineer will have the following skills and attributes:

-           Management of Windows 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure.

-           Knowledge of Citrix, VMWare and UNIX platforms.

-           Strong client facing experience and willingness to travel UK wide.

-           Experience of software release management is highly desirable.
