SQL DBA Jobs North Yorkshire.

A current vacancy exists in North Yorkshire for a Senior SQL Server DBA with strong knowledge of SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008) and candidates holding MCDBA certification would be desirable.

You will have experience in most of the following areas.

SQL Server Databases (2000, 2005 & 2008).

Windows Server.

Scripting (Using TSQL to Backup and maintain SQL Server Performance).

Backup and Recovery (Using TSQL).

High Availability and DR (Microsoft Clustering and SQL Replication).

SQL Server Database Features (DTS and SISS).

Monitoring Tools (Performance monitor, SQL Profiler and Query Analyser ).

Database Security (Encryption, Auditing and Authentication).

Software Development Lifecycle.

Support in a 365x24x7 Environment.

ITIL Principals.
