Systems Administrator – Web Hosting / LAMP – Somerset - £32k 

A Systems Administrator with strong LAMP development skills is required by our client based south of Bristol in Wells, Somerset. A salary of up to £32,000 basic is available to right candidate. This is initially 

The Systems Administrator will deliver on all aspect of the IT infrastructure and web development as this strategic role will define IT policies, manage external contract and be involved in all internal technical processes. 

The Systems Administrator will have commercial Linux system administration and strong Apache hosting with LAN/WAN networking skills. You will have strong development skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the ability to write technical proposals for engagement of external designers/developers

Skills Required: 
- Linux Systems Administration with Apache hosting 
- Strong development skills with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery 
- Wordpress (or Drupal) experience is highly desirable 
- LAN/WAN Networking with WiFi 
- Management of IT contracts, suppliers and procurement as well as contract staff

This is a role for an experienced Systems Administrator who has a genuine passion in all areas of technology. To be successful in this role, you will need to draw upon your extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and networks, web design and strategy including your experience in managing technical projects from start to finish.

Salary to £32,000 + Pension + Flexible Working + 25 days holiday 
Duration – 6 months with opportunity to move into a permanent role.
