VB / Visual Basic Developer is required by an expanding financial services company based in Croydon. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £45,000.

The role will be developing applications for a new exciting project within the financial services industry and candidates should have some of the following skills:

Essential

A minimum of two years commercial programming using VB6 and Active Server Pages.
Knowledge of XML including stylesheets, transforms and schemas.

Desirable

- Commercial programming experience using VB.Net, including a detailed knowledge of the .NET framework.

- Experience of database development, particularly with SQL Server.

- Experience of web development using HTML and Javascript.

- Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP.

Educated to degree level in a computer related discipline and MCAD, MCPD or MSCD qualified.

Salary - £45,000 + benefits
