Web Systems Engineer with knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/Linux, TCP/IP, Cisco (routers, switches, firewalls) Internet WAN technologies (proxies, web caches, DNS, POP3/SMTP) required by our Oxford based Client. Salary to £27,500 + Benefits.

Joining a 2nd line support team you will have responsibility for implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of mission-critical and innovative 24x7 Web & eCommerce solutions:

- Providing day-to-day management and support for Internet related telecoms, server, router, firewall and backup systems within a results oriented, mission-critical environment.

- Delivering bespoke project work, including design, implementation and commissioning of Internet related infrastructure, systems, procedures, and strategic change controls.

- Providing direct support to customers and technical leadership by resolving escalated support issues.

Location: Oxford, Witney, Cheltenham

Salary: £27,500 + Benefits

Start Date: ASAP
