SQL Database Administrator – Junior / SQL / SSRS - Basingstoke - £22k 

A Junior Database Administrator with experience of SQL Server is required by our client in Basingstoke, Hampshire. A salary of £22,000 basic is available dependent upon experience. 

The Junior Database Administrator must have some commercial experience of Database management and Database reporting. You will maintain the company Database and MIS systems and provide support and training to clients.

The Junior Database Administrator will assist the Software Development team in the design of the database and some systems development. Strong knowledge of SQL Server RDBMS and T-SQL is highly desirable as well as multi-dimensional database design (MDX). Multi-dimensional expressions experience is highly desirable, but training can be provided.

Skills and knowledge required: 
- Commercial SQL Server administration and maintenance experience. 
- Some T-SQL and SSRS skills. 
- Knowledge of Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) is desirable. 
- Must have strong communications skills and be willing to learn.

Some experience of C#, VB 6 or VBA would be desirable, but non-essential as training can be provided. OLAP is also advantageous. 

This is an excellent role for a Graduate Database Analyst or Junior DBA looking to join a well established International Software provider based from offices in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
