Junior Unix Systems Administrator – High Wycombe – to £30k
A Junior Unix Systems Administrator is required by our client, a solutions provider based near
The role will involve deploying complex software and hardware solutions to customers, including staging, configuration, installation and support. You will also be developing and maintaining automated system administration scripts including UNIX, shell and Perl scripts.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Windows, Solaris and Linux operating systems including Red Hat
- Networking - TCP/IP, Firewalls etc
- UNIX shell and Perl scripting
Any knowledge of Oracle database applications or RAID would be an advantage, but not essential for this role.
