Senior Perl Developer – South West London
A Senior Perl Developer with strong experience in Linux Systems Administration is required by our established New Media client based near Putney, South West London.
Company
Our client is an established company focused on the Media service sector and supplies online and corporate services to a range of Blue Chip clients throughout the UK .
Position
You will be responsible for Systems Development and maintenance of a large cluster of Linux Servers. You will provide internal and external training and support, as well as planning and implementing new developments.
Background
Suitable applicants must have a minimum of 2 years object-oriented programming (OOP) and design skills preferably with Perl or C++, and strong software development with SQL. You must also have a 2 years experience administering Linux network servers and network security protocols.
This is an excellent opportunity to become involved at all levels with a growing, dynamic Internet company.
Salary – from £40,000 to £48,000 dependent upon experience
Benefits – 10% bonus + 24 days holiday
Location – Near Putney / Hammersmith, South West London
Commute from – Kingston / Wimbledon / Fulham / London / Surrey / South London / Richmond / Chiswick / Acton / Wandsworth
