A daily rate between £8 to £10 per hour is available. You will have a solid understanding of IT technologies and possibly have some knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS). Previous experience using HTML and Photoshop is preferred and some knowledge of basic web development is useful, but not essential. You will work on updating the company website and uploading products to the ecommerce website with responsibility for layout, design and look. Applicants must have strong attention to details and good knowledge HTML. A salary of up to £20k (circa £11 per hour) The successful candidate will have previous IT Helpdesk / IT Service Desk experience and will be responsible for providing end user 1st line support to internal users. Experience Required Previous IT helpdesk / IT Service desk experience<o:p></o:p> Strong Windows / MS Office experience<o:p></o:p> Lotus Notes (highly desirable) Any IT qualifications (such as MCP or MCDST) would be a distinctive advantage.<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> --- Duties ---<o:p></o:p> Responsible for end user support at the first level, dealing with queries mainly over the telephone and with electronic support tools.<o:p></o:p> Contributes to the smooth running of the support function, handing over tickets to escalation partners as necessary while at all times striving to achieve and maintain the agreed service level.<o:p></o:p> Continually search for and apply best practices to the process – suggest alternatives where possible, but should at all times work within the procedures given.<o:p></o:p> Manages and prioritises problem tickets (incidents) according to severity.
